Our Favorite Outfits from TV Wardrobes

With The Summer I Turned Pretty quickly joining the list of well executed book adaptations, everyone’s been noticing the actors, their chemistry and their outfits.

In honour of that, here are some of our favourite outfits from TV shows over the years!

Blair and Serena: Gossip Girl

Whether she’s styling school uniforms or European summer outfits, Blair Waldorf’s outfits still inspire people’s looks. With the perfect mix of preppy and glamourous, Blair’s outfits would make anyone want to have a photoshoot on the Upper East Side.

Blake Lively’s outfits have always been iconic so of course, Serena’s had to be too! Her outfits at every event, from dancing at parties to casually walking down Parisian streets, are the perfect combination of prints, accents, and bold pieces.

Beth Harmon: The Queen’s Gambit

Most of us ended up binge-watching this show the first week it came out then tried learning to play chess. Beth’s character is iconic, from her personality to her intelligence and pure talent. She’s also one of the chicest characters in The Queen’s Gambit, giving off it-girl vibes and great vintage fashion inspiration.

Belly: The Summer I Turned Pretty

TSITP is definitely a show Jenny Han readers and fans of the To All The Boys series looked forward to. Belly had to be included on this list because, unlike most teenage show wardrobes, some of her prettiest outfits are actually pretty easy to get. Whether it’s the casual dress she wears to a bonfire or her date night outfits, you can find most of them on Mango, H&M, Zara, and other online stores.

All the Bridgerton characters

The colour schemes, patterns, and even hairstyles the Bridgerton cast wore were symbolic. From the exquisite accessories throughout the show to the Queen’s iconic outfits, the Sharma sisters’ dreamy dresses, and Anthony, Colin and Benedict’s costumes, the show’s wardrobe is enough of a reason to watch it.

Emily: Emily in Paris

Emily in Paris glamourises the Parisian fantasy, complete with stylish coffee run outfits to Chanel pieces. Although it wasn’t the best-rated show, Emily’s outfits make her one of the most fashionable characters on it!
